:’) Eiji comes off as another “good boy” KR protagonist, but he’s actually got a lot more nuance to him than I anticipated. The only bad episodes were the two recaps, and I skipped those. What is there to say? This was good basically from start to finish. I of course haven’t seen anything between OOO and Build, but I kinda feel like this is maybe the last time the Kamen Rider franchise had good, consistent writing? I mean, at least one of the next three shows is highly regarded from what I understand, and there’s plenty of room for others to be good, but I’ve kind of felt like the quality of the series has been on a downhill ever since I started watching it, and the bright, shining star that is OOO feels like proof of that. Everyone always says this is their favorite, and now I know why.
